One of the great names of the team in flamingo, Striker Gabigol revealed that he was speaking to Corinthians before settling into the Rio side. The athlete also praised Vial when comparing fans.
Gabigol has been part of his career abroad, but he has never hidden his desire to return to Brazil. The striker, who was unable to go to Santos, revealed that he had spoken to Corinthians and Sao Paulo before closing out against Flamengo.
“Inter didn’t allow me to do what I wanted. I always wanted to go back to Santos. It was always my wish to come to Santos. But Santos at the time was broken, and he’s still broken. Then I talked to Corinthians, Sao Paulo and some other teams. I wanted to go back to Brazil. I had an offer from Spain, but I wanted to go back to Brazil, he said in an interview with podcast podba.
With nine titles won at Flamengo, the striker revealed how demanding the Rio team are. For this, he made a comparison with the believers and showed that the Corinthians needed little to be happy.
“Wild Corinthian fan. Corinthians don’t need much, they should be zero at the end of the game. Flamengo should have 5-0, 95% possession of the ball,” the athlete noted.
