The United States guarantees enhanced appropriate security – International

The Joe Biden administration on Wednesday (15) pledged to promote the rights and protections of people living in the United States without officially recognized nationality.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has announced that it will adopt a standardized definition of instability to help them overcome the “various serious challenges and obstacles” they face.

Among the biggest difficulties is the lack of DHS identification documents and the impossibility of access to the legal status of immigration and government benefits.

A “significant number” of skills reside in the United States, DHS said, not to mention numbers.

“Nationhood presents important humanitarian concerns,” DHS leader Alejandro Myorgas said in a statement. “The DHS is committed to taking initiatives to improve the recognition and protection of vulnerable people.”

The DHS said it would coordinate with the State Department to identify and list the immigration benefits legally available to talented individuals and possible ways to remove the barriers they face.

He also promised to explore how to facilitate work and state travel.

Samantha Power, President of the United States Agency for International Development Assistance (USAIT), praised DHS ‘commitment.

“USAID is a leading humanitarian organization providing assistance to more than 4 million homeless people worldwide.

“Thus, many stateless people are becoming entrenched on our shores and invisible to our bureaucratic system,” he added.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has called on the DHS to work with intergovernmental partners and the general public to obtain inputs on proposed initiatives and to announce new measures to support the vulnerable in the United States.
