Transatlantic flight delayed after bathroom panels and ‘disappearing’ on board

Transatlantic flight delayed after bathroom panels and ‘disappearing’ on board

An unusual passenger boarded without permission a United Airlines plane, which was to follow a flight from Newark International Airport, in New Jersey, to Athens, Greece. This is a pigeon that put in a lot of work for the crew and delayed its take-off by about an hour. A flight attendant recorded everything on her TikTok profile.

“You wonder why your flight from Newark to Greece was delayed by an hour,” Commissioner Arina Bloom wrote at the beginning of the video, which has already garnered 2.2 million views and 619,000 likes on TikTok alone. Flight 124 was supposed to take off at 6:05 p.m., but didn’t depart until 7:04 p.m., according to Radar Box data.

Arena posted the video a day after the episode, last Sunday (8). At first, the bathroom is in the part of the plane which is the kitchen and he walks quietly on the floor until United miss him.

Without knowing the whereabouts of the bird, the plane took off and it seemed that the bird had already disappeared. At the end of the recording, the flight attendant said that she had not found the pigeons after the plane landed.

Three hypotheses about the whereabouts of the ‘stowaway passenger’ were given in the comments: pigeons left the plane while still in Newark; Travel to Greece. And it’s probably still somewhere on the board.
