Camaquã shows new drop in active cases of Covid-19

On Thursday, August 26, the city of Kamakoa reported a new drop in active cases of Covid-19. With the new patients recovering, Kamakawa has only 13 patients with active disease, the lowest number in more than a year.

The city confirmed only one new case, a 72-year-old woman who developed mild symptoms. The epidemiological bulletin showed a decrease in the number of active and hospitalized cases with the disease.

Kamakawa has 31 patients with flu-like symptoms under observation.

So far, there have been 149 deaths linked to Covid-19.

In terms of in-hospital patients, the city has four Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds at Nossa Senhora Aparecida Hospital and none in the clinical beds.

The Municipal Health Department of Kamakawa is expecting on Thursday (26th) the second dose of the vaccine against Covid-19.

The second dose can be given to people for whom the second dose is indicated in pencil on the vaccination card until September 10.

The vaccination takes place at the Viégas Immunization Center, from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
