Owner Skol, Brahma, Antarctica, Bohemia and Stella Artois inform customers that the higher prices are due to inflation, increased costs, exchange rates and tax burden
Ambev brewery, owner of brands such as Skol, Brahma, Antarctica, Bohemia and Stella Artois, announced Tuesday night (28) an increase in beer prices. In the statement sent to customers and distributors, the brewery claims that readjustment will follow varying inflation, costs, exchange rates and tax burden.
Also according to Ambev, the mod may vary for different regions, brands, packaging and sectors. The company focuses on a 60% market share in the country’s market. In the statement, Ambev also says, “We are strengthening our commitment to the competitiveness of our brands in the marketplace, always aiming for good industry turnover performance.”
Ambiff did not say what the scope of the modifications would be. Abrasel (the Brazilian Association of Bars and Restaurants) said the price increase should be in line with the inflation accumulating in the past 12 months, around 10%.
