A disguised man was sentenced to life imprisonment in Argentina | Globalism

An Israeli citizen known as “Cat Man” was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment in Argentina Wednesday (3) on charges of premeditated murder.

Nicholas Gilles-Berrig, who has lived in the South American country since 2009, was on trial for the murders of his mother, Beria Sarrosi, and his aunt, Lily Berig, in January 2019, in Mendoza.

On October 26, his trial was suspended due to the 40-year-old suspect I started meowing in court, thus earning the nickname “Cat Man” (see video below).

The accused of femicide is removed from court because of his melancholy during the hearing

Wearing a red shirt and shorts, the same clothes he had worn throughout the trial, the accused entered court at 4:34 p.m. local time.

He was subsequently indicted by a popular jury of 12 people.

“We, the jury, unanimously found defendant Gilles Berrig guilty of murder,” the jury said upon reading the verdict.

Gil Pereg is a 40-year-old former Israeli soldier and electronics engineer who arrived in Argentina in 2009 to open a restaurant in Mendoza.

Berig’s mother and aunt visited him on January 12, 2019.

The two women’s mutilated bodies were found by security forces two weeks later, on January 26, covered with dirt and stones in Berig’s home.
