A 68-year-old man suffered broken bones and other serious injuries after being bitten by a crocodile at a zoo resort in the Philippines on November 10, while celebrating his birthday with his family.

Nehemias Chipada was visiting the quaint Amaya View Resort, located in Cagayan de Oro, when she discovered what she thought was an animal statue. Then the tourist approached to take a selfie and discovered in the worst possible way that it was a real crocodile.

The 3.6-meter animal bit Nehemiah in the arm and dragged him into a nearby pond, causing him serious injuries. Fortunately, the man managed to free himself from the animal’s fangs and escaped, bleeding.

The victim received the first consultation by the team “Noah’s Ark” (Noah’s Ark) until the arrival of the paramedics. The attack was so violent that one of the animal’s teeth was found sticking to Nehemiah’s torn flesh.

On the Philippine News website, the victim’s family said the resort management had sent financial aid to cover Nahmias’ treatments. Who is now in harm’s way.
