Anti-Covid Reinforcement for Teens in DF Begins Monday

According to the DF Minister of Health, General Manuel Paviadash, the expansion comes in the wake of Technical Note No. 35 issued by the Ministry of Health, issued on Friday (27/5).

“Arrival of the third dose for people over 12 years of age essentially enhances safety in schools, as well as increases protection for young people who usually live together in groups,” Baviadash said.

The Ministry of Health has identified a sufficient number of Coronavac doses to start the application. However, the department has asked the Health Department to replenish Pfizer’s stockpile.

DF has 268,474 adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17. Of this total, 241,783 received the first dose (D1) and 4,988 were immunized with the second dose (D2).
