vaccination

Due to an update in the Ministry of Health’s system for sending vaccination data, only 247 out of 417 Bahia municipalities have uploaded information regarding the vaccinated population. In this way, the numbers displayed in the vacancy scale correspond only to those collected by these municipalities, giving the impression of a low vaccination coverage.

Another change in standardization of information is that the Janssen vaccine, previously considered a single dose, is now counted as a two-dose vaccine.

The Bahia State Department of Health (CESAP) makes daily contact with the teams in each municipality in order to measure the amount of doses applied.
