The Prime Minister paid a surprise visit to Kiev UK, Boris JohnsonAccording to a Downing Street report, Ukrainian forces offered to carry out a major training operation.
The program will have the capacity to train 10,000 soldiers every four months, which will “fundamentally change the equation of war,” the text says.
The proposal calls for three weeks each for Ukrainian troops to train in other countries – “combat-winning skills” and medical training, cyber security and explosives tactics.
The report says the ambition will be to strengthen and increase Kiev’s opposition to the Russian occupation. During the President’s visit Volodymyr ZhelenskyJohnson said the UK would stand by the Ukrainian people “until they finally win.”
“Two months after my last visit, Ukrainian courage, determination and resilience are stronger than ever, and I know this unwavering commitment will last a long time for President Putin’s vain ambitions,” he said.

Gelensky described Johnson as a “friend of freedom” and thanked him for his “unparalleled support” for his country in response to the February invasion. The two also discussed the need for heavy weapons Ukraine To counter Russian rocket attacks on civilian areas.
The British Prime Minister’s second visit comes a day after the French President’s joint visit. Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholes and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi. The trio called for the resumption of peace talks between Russia and Ukraine.
