Technical assistant to Vitor Pereira, Luis Miguel, born in Espinho, Portugal, has dual citizenships: Portuguese and Angolan. The 51-year-old has a UEFA Pro license.

Early in his career, he coached small teams in Portugal, such as Algodris, Uniao Lamas, Firenze, Pacos de Ferreira and Santa Clara. There are 77 matches in this role.

After 2012, his last job as head coach, he joined Vitor Pereira as an assistant. Luis Miguel was next to the new Corinthians coach at Al Ahly and Fernbach and 1860 in Munich and Shanghai SIPG. From 2009 to 2010, a year after Pereira left the Porto base, Luis Miguel took charge of the Under-15 team.

Strange fact: Vitor Pereira and Luis Miguel are brothers in law. Born in Espinho, Portugal, Timao coach married the sister of the current assistant. Both have already faced each other, including in a match between Porto and Pacos de Ferreira.

According to Vitor Pereira’s assistant, Felipe Almeida also holds a UEFA Pro license. In 2013, the Portuguese Football Federation announced that Felipe had the best score for the course that year, ahead of names such as Paulo Fonseca and Nuno Espírito Santo.

The 41-year-old trainer has a degree in Physical Education from the University of Sport in Porto. He worked as a physical coach in Porto, in 2011, and Al-Ahly, 2013. After that, he joined Timao coach as an assistant.

The two were together at Fenerbahce, 1860 Munich and Shanghai SIPG.

According to expert in the analysis of the Vitor Pereira commission, Bruno Moura started his career as a physical trainer at Rio Ave and Benfica in Portugal. He is also known in Portugal for being the son of Rodolfo Moura, the famous Portuguese football physiotherapist. His father dealt with Jardel while the Brazilian striker played for Sporting and Porto.

At the age of 44, Bruno Moura also coached the teams of Beira Mar, Santa Clara and France, which are less Portuguese teams. He joined Vitor Pereira in 2021, at Fenerbahce, in the same role he would play at Corinthians.

Luis Nuno Nidio, a tactical analyst for Vitter Pereira, was the head coach of Fulham, England, from 2008 to 2017.

Soon after, he was an assistant coach and supervisor for Timão at Shanghai SIPG in China, and a tactical analyst at Fenerbahçe in Turkey.

He has worked alongside Vitor Pereira since 2019, when they were both playing in Chinese football.

Ascenção holds a PhD from the Faculty of Sports Science and Physical Education, University of Porto, since 2005. The 48-year-old professional is also a researcher at the Research Center for Physical Activity, Health and Rest and at the university’s Metabolic and Exercise Laboratory.
