Teresa Santos, 23, of Ceará, was named the new Miss Brazil on Wednesday (10) and announced the organization of the event.
Thus, the Brazilian actress will be in the Miss Universe contest, an international beauty contest that will be held in Israel next month.
Teresa Santos was born in Fortaleza, and raised in the municipality of Maranguabi (CE). She is a psychology student and also works as a model.

It was the second time Santos competed, and in the final stage, he battled for the crown with Miss Piaui, Maria Gabriela Lacerda, and with Miss Sergipe, Carol Valenza – who were second and third, respectively.
