FIFA releases first World Cup song; Listen

hours ago World Cup group stage drawToday, the International Football Association (FIFA) released (1) the song “Hayya Hayya” (“Better together” in the English title, which means “Better together” in Portuguese), which is the first song from the soundtrack for the World Cup in Qatar.

The Song Performed by Trinidad Cardona, Davido and Aisha artists, today’s World Cup group draw will take place at 13:00 (Brazilian time).

Unlike other releases of the World Cup, the Qatar Cup will not only have a main song, but an entire track with other songs to be released in the coming months.

According to FIFA, “Hayya Hayya” has R&B and Reggae influences. Music sums up the feelings of a festival football “This year the world will light up,” the organization said in a statement.

Trinidad Cardona is American, Davido is born in the United States but is of Nigerian descent, while Aisha is a singer from Qatar.

“I am pleased and honored to live in these exciting times where I can witness and be a part of this great achievement for my country Qatar. The song’s message of unity and joy resonated with us throughout the journey to make this song. It is a dream come true to participate in The World Cup draw and to be a part of this important song,” said Aisha.
