Fujimori, 83, is accused of committing massacres in Barrios Altos and La Cantota, which left 25 victims during his reign.

These massacres were classified as crimes against humanity because they were considered crimes of murder, serious injuries and aggravated kidnapping, according to the rulings of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in 2001 and 2006.
