Like an egg car, the SUS ambulance calls the residents to be vaccinated

The municipality of Palmital, 413 kilometers from the city of São Paulo, has decided to innovate in its vaccination campaign against the Corona virus. Just like the traditional egg and mash carts, an ambulance from the SUS (Unified Health System) was dispatched to the streets to summon residents to get vaccinated.

“Attention, attention, the Palmital Health team is passing by your residence to update your vaccination schedule,” a announcer’s voice declared over the loudspeaker on top of the ambulance.

If you haven’t had your first dose of the vaccine yet or you’re late on your second dose, take a chance and get vaccinated.”

The one who caught the eye was journalist Taissa Oliveira, who shared the video on her Twitter account: “Only 110 people were vaccinated in the first two neighborhoods they passed through,” she said.
