President Luis Inacio Lula da Silva (PT) This Monday (8.Jul.2024) celebrated the victory of the Labor Party and the NFP (New Popular Front, Left) in the United Kingdom and General Assembly elections that took Keir Starmer to the post of Prime Minister. France, respectively.
“They moved out 14 years ago [trabalhistas] Government and returned with a majority. I think they did not expect such strength in the election process. This is an important step forward.”The president told reporters at the Mercosur summit in Asuncion, Paraguay.
