The Neo Química Arena will once again receive a match from the Brazilian team. This time, Tite faces Colombia, in a match valid for the 13th round of the South American World Cup qualifiers, on November 11.
Juninho Paulista, the team’s coordinator, praised the Corinthians stadium, in a letter published on the official website of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF).
The coach said: “The quality of the New Quémica Arena is indisputable. For the match against Paraguay, in Belo Horizonte, we will have enough time to improve the stadium.”
The Brazilian Football Confederation has also released Tite’s training schedule for November. On the eighth and ninth, activities will take place in Corinthians CT. On Wednesday, the day before the duel, it will be action at the Neo Química Arena.
The New Coimica Arena has so far hosted eight matches for the Brazilian national team, five for the men’s team and three for the women, in addition to the Argentina duel that was Suspended due to protocols against Covid-19, the retrospective effect is positive.
The Brazilian men’s team achieved a 100% success on the field in Itaqueira: five wins in five matches. On the other hand, the women’s team has a positive, but unbeaten record: two wins and one loss in three matches.
No match for Corinthians should be rearranged, as they must face Atlético MG, in Minas Gerais, a day before the Brazilian team’s scheduled match at the New Coimica Arena. After the chosen match, Timão returns to the field against Cuiabá, this time at Casa do Povo, with a date set by the Brazilian Football Confederation.
