Nick Diaz “Bar Brawl” vs. Robbie Lawler and gives up the match for a strange reason in return after 6 years; paying off

The third battle of the main card of UFC 266 It was one of the most awaited night. Without a fight since 2015, Nick Diaz returned to the Octagon to face Robbie Lawler and lost to a TKO in the third round.

This was Nick Diaz’s first fight in over six years. The last time the American entered the Octagon was in January 2015, when he and Anderson Silva were caught in an anti-doping test and there was no showdown winner.

Even without a belt, the fight had five scheduled rounds and the first was an intense exchange. Diaz and Lawler exchanged blows during the five minutes to the delight of the fans, frustrated by Previous fight between Curtis Blaydes and Jerzinho Rosenstrwick.

The fighters looked a little tired from the second round. However, the exchange of blows continued, with no intention of bringing the fight to Earth at any time.

Lawler’s third-round win came with a fine streak. The American hit his compatriot in the nose and caused severe bleeding. Precisely for this reason, Diaz decided not to continue the fight.

“I knew (my nose) was running here and I didn’t want to make a big mess,” the 38-year-old explained after his first fight in six years.

As a result of UFC 266, the veterans’ personal duel tied with one win each. They faced each other at UFC 47 in 2004 and Diaz earned a better than TKO.
