Realme officially announced on Wednesday (18) the arrival of Team prison cell GT2 Pro. The Top of the line model It has settings to counter specific names like Samsung Galaxy S22. It is on sale as of today for R$5999.
According to the manufacturer, the launch is “the highest level ever developed by the brand”. And indeed, it has a sophisticated atmosphere, like tilt We can notice at today’s launch event and at the initial tests conducted in the past few days.
The design, signed by Japanese Naoto Fukasawa, draws attention to the presence of a detail that contrasts with the most expensive devices we see around: the back does not use glass. In its place is a biopolymer that is very pleasant to the touch and gives extra rigidity when holding the device.
Still in terms of usability, the rounded rear ends help, especially since we are not talking about a small mobile. Using the Galaxy S22 for comparison, the Realme model is 17.2mm in length, as well as being wider, thicker and heavier.
Check out the full measurements below. Is that true GT2 forefront:
- Height: 163.2 mm
- Width: 74.7 mm
- Thickness: 8.2 mm
- Weight: 189 grams
Still talking about the looks, we have the set of cameras on the back, which have a slightly rectangular shape and integrate well with the design of the device. On models bearing the signature of the Japanese designer, there is another bump with the name Fukasawa and the Realme logo.
In Brazil, although the green version has appeared in press demonstrations, it will be limited to commercial marketing in white.
performance
If it depends on the technical specifications, Realme GT2 Pro will easily satisfy the desires of the most demanding in terms of processing.
The SoC (System on Chip, a combination of processor, modem and video card) is the same used by the best Android devices on the market. The launch has a Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which features an octa-core chip and runs at a maximum frequency of 3GHz (which stands for speed; the more, the better).
This package is complemented by a generous 12GB of RAM, which helps with performance. Storage capacity is 256 GB.
In the initial tests of tiltHowever, we could have seen performance compare to devices like the Galaxy S and Moto Edge, with an emphasis on speed in heavy games and navigating through menus. In short: You won’t have any problems with stuttering or crashing.
The quality also appears on the device’s 6.7-inch (17.01 cm) screen with Quad HD + resolution (1440 x 3216 pixels). This screen is packed with features like HDR +, which makes colors more vibrant and natural, and it has a 120Hz refresh rate, so that moving images, in the case of videos and games, are smoother.
cameras
The Realme GT2 Pro’s camera array may seem modest. After all, there is no zoom or dedicated depth sensor. Either way, in practice, the results are pretty pictures.
During the tests, it was possible to demonstrate that the AI used in the post-processing of the images is not too intrusive, resulting in more natural images.
The group consists of
- Wide angle lens with 50MP sensor.
- Ultra Wide with 50 MP (150° FV).
- 3 megapixel microscope lens.
Thus, it is a device that is more focused on medium and short distance shots. It’s as fast as it can take pictures in low light conditions – and do it with high quality.
The front camera is 32 megapixels. It is aligned to the left of the screen.
drums
The Realme GT2 Pro is powered by a 5,000mAh battery, which is a value already in the average market – even for the cheaper models.
In initial tests, we noticed that the device could stay out of the socket for an entire day with heavy use.
The device is sold with a 65W charger that can fill from 20% to 100% of a cell phone battery in 30 minutes.
Helping the solution adopted by Realme at this point is splitting the battery into two cells with a capacity of 2500 mAh, which ensures a higher charging speed and makes the device heat less as it approaches its full charge.
Limited Edition Special
In addition to the launch of the Realme GT2 Pro, the manufacturer offers a special launch version, which in addition to the mobile phone includes the Realme Band 2 smart watch and the Realme Buds Air 2 wireless headset.
The set costs R$4,999 in total. Sales are limited until 21/05.
