Globo confirmed Friday night (3) that New Year’s Eve special with Roberto Carlos It has been confirmed and will not be published. The show will be broadcast on December 22nd.
The King’s Special is one of the most traditional year-end attractions for Brazilians.
Because of the pandemic, the singer’s concert in Jerusalem in 2011 was broadcast instead of an unprecedented performance last year.
Jota Quest, Erasmo Carlos, Wanderlia, Vava de Belém, Lea Soares, duo Zizi de Camargo and Luciano, Zika Pagodinho, Yvette Sangallo, couple Sandy and Lucas Lima are among the confirmed guests for this year’s show.
The special show will be recorded at Estúdios Globo, under the artistic direction of LP Simonetti.
“It is an important message that Roberto Carlos is doing ‘Special’ again, There is no end to the year without the king. The audience can expect a lot of emotions from these encounters in a show that is conducted with great care and conveys a message of hope”, explains the artistic director.
