São Vicente will request proof of Covid-19 vaccination for SUS patients and caregivers | More health

All residents of São Vicente, located on the coast of São Paulo, who need to use the city’s public health services from Monday (16) must present their Covid-19 vaccination card, as well as accompanying patients in hospital.

The decision was made by two Service Orders (OS) for servers, issued on Friday (13) and signed by the Minister of Health, Michele Luis Santos. In the text, the operating systems are justified as a way to reduce the spread of the virus among patients, caregivers and workers in city health units, while the ESPIN continues.

The municipality revealed, through a note, that OS 4/2021 states that “a public servant must request from patients a vaccination document containing the vaccination against Covid-19 to allow access to places that provide services of the Unified Health System (SUS).” On the other hand, OS 5/2021 requires presentation of the vaccination card by companions.
