A family woke up hearing the noise on the porch. Arriving at the spot, they saw a crocodile swimming in the pool of the house. The trial is set to begin on Tuesday morning (5/17) in Deep Creek, Florida, USA.
It is common for people to come in contact with crocodiles in the area and although most of the time the animals run away, the crocodile attack is dangerous. According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, between 1948 and 2016, 23 people were killed by crocodiles in accidental attacks in Florida.
In the original lawsuit, Charlotte urged police to “always check your pool before diving.”
