Sertanejo Yago singer, from duet with Santhiago, dies at 29 | Parana

Country singer Yago, who was a partner with Santhiago, has died at the age of 29. The death occurred on Wednesday (29), at Erasto Gartner Hospital, in Curitiba, confirmed by the crew of the duo.

According to the press office, since the beginning of December, he was hospitalized with a lymphoma that caused a pneumothorax. This condition occurs when air that should have been in the lung leaks into the chest. As a result, the lung contracts and stops working.

Carlos Hiago Francisco Piemonte Silva, born in Caieiras (SP), has been battling lymphoma since 2018. He lived in Campo Largo, in the Metropolitan area of Curitiba, since 2012.

The awakening will occur on Thursday (30), from 8 a.m., in Church 2 of Colonia Orleans Parish Cemetery, in Curitiba. The funeral will be held at the same location on Thursday at 2:00 pm.
