The best-selling cars February 2022

The national market sold 1,192 cars and light commercial vehicles in February 2022, achieving a 3.08% increase compared to January, however, a decrease of 24.03% compared to the same period in 2021.

It also records a decrease in the backlog for 2022, by 26.17% from last year. Total sales to date are 236,789 units.

In brands, Fiat opened an advantage of about 22%. General Motors is in second place and Hyundai is in third place. Toyota took 4th place, and only then appeared Volkswagen, in 5th place. Renault and Jeep appeared next.

Honda held up well, with Kawa Chery advancing to ninth, knocking out Nissan. Very soon, Peugeot was eliminated from the top ten, followed by Citroen and Mitsubishi at a distance.

On the other hand, Ford scored slightly more than BMW, with Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover and Volvo. Kia, Audi and VW/MAN rounded out the Fenabrave’s 21 best car list.

In automobiles, the Strada was the overall best-seller, with Onix being the auto leader. The T-Cross was the best-selling SUV.

The highlight is electric cars, such as the Nissan Leaf and JAC e-JS1. In light commercials, there are no changes regarding partial advertisements, with Saveiro sales falling.

Fiat, Jeep, Hyundai, General Motors and Renault were the best-selling brands in direct sales, which fell to 39.22%.

The Compass, HB20 and Siena were the best sellers in cars, as well as the Strada and S10 in light commercials.
