One couple encounters an unusual surprise when renting an apartment in the UK. Days after moving to the new address, they discovered, by opening the kitchen cupboard, a “secret room”.
The episode was shared in a group of Facebook social networking site It’s called “The Objects in the Walls – and Other Hidden Discoveries”. According to the British newspaper The Daily Star, A The woman, who has not revealed her identity, reported that she and her boyfriend were cleaning the new dorm when they found the room, which could only be accessed through a small door located inside the kitchen cupboard.
Also according to the post, the small room has a window, no floor, and has some exposed wires and some building materials.
He joked, “I just rented an apartment with my boyfriend and found a room in our kitchen cupboard. I’ll leave something strange for the next tenants when we move in.”
Other members of the group made comments and joked about the situation. One netizen wrote: ‘I was going to turn it into a hideout to study or have my favorite snacks away from my kids so I wouldn’t have to share them with them. Another recommended, “I’m going to make this hideaway very comfortable. Is the husband getting on your nerves? Run to the hideout.”
Others hinted that the “secret room” would just be some kind of warehouse.
