The Ministry of Health ends the vaccination from one car to another, and the campaign focuses on health publications

By Newsroom / Petropolis Tribune

From next Monday (16), the Covid-19 vaccination campaign in Petropolis will no longer have a drive-by-drive option and vaccination will be concentrated only in health units. The decision to change three points to basic health units, according to the municipality, was made due to the progress of vaccination coverage in the city, where 97.7% of the population has been immunized with at least one dose.

The driving calls will be held through Heber Shopping Petropolis, in Alto da Serra, at UBS de Moraine. The device, which has been installed at Prefeito Paulo Rattes Municipal Park, in Itaipava, will begin operating at UBS in the area. It should be noted that from Monday, vaccination will only take place inside the unit, with no drive-through option.

The vaccination center at Supermercado Extra, in Quitandinha, will also be deactivated, and the vaccination will take place at UBS in the same neighbourhood. Even with standardization, the immunization schedule was not standardized between health units.

At Morin UBS, vaccination is exclusive to adults and takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. In the Itaipava unit, adults and children are vaccinated, but at different times. Vaccination for both audiences begins at 8:30 a.m., but vaccination for children ends at 4 p.m. and adults at 7 p.m. At Quitandinha UBS, adults and children are served from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM. In all units, service takes place only from Monday to Friday.

Vaccination is also carried out at the Collective Health Center, in Rua Santos Dumont; At Itamarati UBS and at ESFs in Posse and Rua João Xavier.
