The UK offers incentives for young people to be vaccinated

Health Minister Sajid Javed announced this Sunday that discounts on food distribution or taxi applications are some of the incentives being offered in the UK to promote the vaccine among younger people.

In a statement, Sajid Javed encouraged more adults between the ages of 18 and 29 to be vaccinated, recalling that “take advantage of this discount” and that the Govt vaccine is not just about protecting them. According to the report, taxi, Uber and Bolt apps will offer discounts on services or even free tickets to vaccination posts, while young people will be able to buy food at lower prices on Delivery, Uber Eats or Pizza Pilgrimage.

The Ministry of Health, which has set up vaccination posts for young people at art galleries and shopping centers, wrote that in the coming days, discounts on restaurants or more incentives, including cheaper tickets to cinemas, theaters or music festivals, will be released. .

As of July 30, 67% of young people between the ages of 18 and 29 – minors in this country who have not yet been vaccinated – received the first dose of the Govt vaccine (approximately 46.8 million people) compared to 88.5% of the total adult population.

72.1% of adults, or 38.12 million people, are on the complete vaccination program.
