The value of exports rose 5% to USD 898.7 million in April/24 – the highest since June.
According to the federation, exports to Mexico reached a three-year high, while exports to several markets in the Western Hemisphere, Japan and the Middle East showed an upward trend.

In the first four months of 2024, the value of beef exports increased by 5% to US$3.38 billion compared to the same period last year, despite a 3% decline in volume (423,445 tonnes).
