The comedian and former PDT presidential candidate exchanged criticism in a live broadcast Friday (20)
Gabriella Moncao and Cayo Si Maya, Brazil de facto – “To win right-wing voters, you’re mimicking right-wing rhetoric,” comedian Gregorio Duvivier told PDT presidential candidate Ciro Gomez, during a live broadcast Friday (20). “If you want to help Lula, you help Bolsonaro as much as you can,” Gomez replied during the heated debate.
It all started when Duvivier argued in Greg News, his HBO show, that in order to “save democracy,” the harasser’s voters traded their votes for Lula (PT). In response, Gomez summoned the comedian to his live broadcast debate.
In less than 24 hours, the fallout on the networks has already generated at least 170,000 posts on Twitter about the topic, which is the most negative for the politician.
“A man like you should be at an equal distance, criticizing us all,” Cero said, defending that his interlocutor needs “maturity.” “Equidistance doesn’t exist, man. How long have you been a politician? And are you talking about equidistance?” Duvivier replied.

In Ciro’s opinion, Duvivier asked Brazilians to “vote without criticizing Lula”. Gregorio denied this, and said, who in 2018 voted for Ciro in the first round, he would do so again if there was a chance for the politician to defeat Bolsonaro (PL). He asked “Everything you do wrong you talk about Lola, what obsession do you have with Lola?”
Your problem is your personality.
In the words of the children, “the left PT has rotted”: “And I say this to offer people an alternative.” Noting that in 2018, Gomez tried to form a coalition so that Lula would be his deputy, Gregorio argued that Cero’s accusations of Labor corruption were not coherent.
“Your problem is not corruption, Ciro, your problem is personality. Criticize that you have no problem with corruption with your allies.
The former candidate, in Dufever’s opinion, asked what elects Bolsonaro in the southern and southeastern regions of the country: “Have all the Brazilian people turned into cattle?”. “I think what elected Bolsonaro was the anti-hemorrhagic you’re promoting today,” the comedian replied.
During the conversation, which lasted about an hour and a half, Cerro Gomez interrupted Gregorio several times. “Boring as hell, calling someone to talk on your channel and not letting the guy talk,” complained the guest. “Your problem, Ciro, is that you keep fighting with the shadows, dude. “You fight with everyone else.”
Presidential race
Ciro occupies third place in the predictions of the presidential elections scheduled for next October. According to an Ipespe poll released on the same day as the live broadcast, former President Lula stands out with 44% of voting intentions. Then Bolsonaro showed up with 32%. Ciro Gomez scored 8% of intent.
“I don’t want you to give up anything. I’m talking to the voters,” Gregorio told Ciro, referring to the possibility of withdrawing from the candidacy. “Do you want the voters to abandon me?” asked the former governor of Ciara. “Exactly,” replied Duvifer, “it’s fundamentally different.”
