Xiaomi 12, 12 X and 12 Pro released with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and more; paying off

With a premium finish and a metal frame, the Xiaomi 12 line arrives in the market with an eye-catching design. This year’s devices have a camera module in the upper left corner that emphasizes the main sensor and offers a different organization.

In addition, the display of both is AMOLED, but the Xiaomi 12 comes out of the box with a 6.28-inch screen, while the alternative Xiaomi 12 Pro It measures 6.73 inches, features curved edges and LTPO 2.0 technology.

In any case, they share a refresh rate of 120Hz, with the most powerful model having a resolution of 2K.

Due to the presence of an AMOLED display, there is a fingerprint reader under the dashboard. It’s also A+ certified in DisplayMate, HDR10+, Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and has a small aperture to accommodate the selfie camera.

For those who enjoy a good audio experience, the Xiaomi Line 12 provides stereo sound and is Dolby Atmos certified.

Looking at the back of the smartphones, you can see that they both have three cameras. However, the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro only share the main sensor resolution of 50MP (Sony IMX 766 and Sony IMX707 respectively).

In both cases, we also have a 32MP front lens for recording good selfies.

Speaking more about the Xiaomi 12, there is a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5MP telemacro. On the other hand, Xiaomi 12 Pro offers all the other sensors with the same 50MP resolution as the main sensor.

Thus, the manufacturer assures that the user will not lose accuracy when taking pictures with any of them.

The devices record videos up to 8K resolution, have HDR mode and different photo scenarios using artificial intelligence.

While talking about high-end mobile phones, Xiaomi has announced Both are powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. RAM and internal storage options come to 12GB and 256GB, with LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 technologies, respectively.

Smartphones support 5G connectivity by default, and bring Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band WiFi 6 and NFC for push-to-talk.

To ensure good autonomy, the Xiaomi 12 has a 4500mAh battery, while the Pro model offers 4600mAh, the first with 67W fast charging and the second up to 120W wired.

Last but not least, Xiaomi also announced the most expensive cell phone 12X. This model maintains the essence of the standard variant by sharing the design and the same 6.28-inch screen size.

However, the main change in the chipset, such as Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 makes room for Snapdragon 870.
